Earn the 11392NAT Graduate Diploma with an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) pathway designed for experienced aligner dentists.

If you have already completed clear aligner cases and can confidently self-pace your learning, this option provides 12 months of 100% online access to training materials and an assessment-only focus, without mentoring or live support.

Limited-support pathway with reduced fee. Full assessment requirements still apply.

RPL Pathway Overview

Who this suits?

This pathway is designed for dentists who:

  • have already delivered clear aligner treatment in practice, and

  • are confident learning online as well as independently, and

  • do not require mentoring, case troubleshooting, or live coaching to progress.

Eligibility Requirements for the RPL Pathway

To apply, you must:

  • Provide evidence you have commenced or completed at least 3 clear aligner cases (case log and minimum evidence requirements outlined below).
  • Confirm you can self-pace online without case mentoring or case support.
  • Hold required professional indemnity and business arrangements consistent with program entry requirements.
  • Agree to complete all assessments within the enrolment term of 12 months.

Evidence of 3 clear aligner cases (minimum expectations):

  • Case log including initial records and treatment summary for each case (template can be provided after application)
  • De-identified records are acceptable
  • Evidence must be sufficient for assessor verification

 

What are the inclusions and exclusions in the RPL Pathway?

Inclusions:

  • 12 months online access to core training materials (self-paced, over 400 hrs of learning)

  • Assessment participation and marking (Quizzes, Portfolio case presentations and Viva)

  • Administration and online account management

  • Eligibility to be issued the AQF qualification only after:

    • all required assessments are completed satisfactorily, and

    • all fees are paid in full

To keep fees low, the RPL Pathway excludes:

  • Live case mentoring

  • Case support or case reviews

  • Live case discussion and case support webinars

  • Individual coaching sessions

  • Forum or chat access

 

If you are a beginner in clear aligner treatments and require mentoring or case support, the Full Graduate Diploma Program is the appropriate option.
